Paul Adenot 829683923f Bug 1717448 - Don't use std::generic_category and other error reporting facilities, ignore IO errors. r=glandium
Otherwise we get:

TEST-UNEXPECTED-FAIL | check_binary_compat | SmokeDMD | We do not want these libstdc++ symbol versions to be used:
INFO - _ZNSt3_V216generic_categoryEv (GLIBCXX_3.4.21)

And also we'd rather not crash on IO errors, that are probably not going to be
used in production anyways.
