488966fb05 Bug 1754004 - Part 10: Clone PostData when writing into & reading from SessionHistoryInfo, r=smaug
Previously the SessionHistoryInfo would hold onto and hand out the
original nsIInputStream objects which were provided by the
nsDocShellLoadState and used to create the underlying channel. This
could cause issues in edge cases, as input streams when serialized over
IPC have their logical owner transferred to the IPC layer so that it can
copy the data to the peer process.

This patch changes the logic to instead clone the input stream to and
from the history info. This means that the history info has its own
instance of the stream type and interacting with it shouldn't interfere
with other consumers of the post data stream.

The behaviour for non-SHIP session history is not changed, as it doesn't
serialize the relevant streams over IPC in the same way, and is on track to be
removed.

64cc8bb61e Bug 1767346 - Use browsing context activeness rather than renderLayers to determine process priority. r=mccr8,mconley
For desktop this should basically have no impact (maybe impacts tab
warming, but if we wanted we could set the priority hint from the tab
switcher the same way we set renderLayers), but Fenix always has
renderLayers as true, effectively, so we were never de-prioritizing the
background tab processes.

cfc8a1c90e Bug 1762298 - Inherit used color-scheme from embedder <browser> elements. r=nika,dao,Gijs
This allows popups and sidebars to use the chrome preferred
color-scheme.

This moves the responsibility of setting the content-preferred color
scheme to the appropriate browsers to the front-end (via tabs.css).

We still return the PreferredColorSchemeForContent() when there's no
pres context (e.g., for display:none in-process iframes). We could
potentially move a bunch of the pres-context data to the document
instead, but that should be acceptable IMO as for general web content
there's no behavior change in any case.

91d039e9f2 Bug 1744425 - Replace nsContentUtils::GenerateUUID() to nsID::GenerateUUID(). r=nika
Bug 1723674 added a new nsID::GenerateUUID() static factory function to generate UUIDs without the overhead of querying and instantiating an nsIUUIDGenerator object. nsContentUtils::GenerateUUID() is a utility function that amortizes that overhead by holding an nsIUUIDGenerator singleton. That's no longer necessary because code that calls nsContentUtils::GenerateUUID() can now just call nsID::GenerateUUID(). No nsIUUDGenerator is needed.

Add a synced ParentInitiatedNavigationEpoch field to browsing context, which
only gets incremented when we start navigations in the parent process. When a
child process initiates a navigation, it sends the current value of the field
that it sees via DocumentChannelCreationArgs. In the parent process, we can
compare the value of that field with the latest one for the same browsing
context. If the latest value is higher than the one provided by the content
process, it means that in the meantime parent process has started a navigation
so the earlier navigation originating in the content process will be cancelled.

child process initiates a navigation, it sends the current value of the field
that it sees via DocumentChannelCreationArgs. In the parent process, we can
compare the value of that field with the latest one for the same browsing
context. If the latest value is higher than the one provided by the content
process, it means that in the meantime parent process has started a navigation
so the earlier navigation originating in the content process will be cancelled.

3318dd6b6e Bug 1721217 - Part 2: Fix the race between navigations originating in the parent and in the content, r=nika
