c0b42cfec2 fix for bug 189528 - do on-demand decompression of items in a .jar file 
instead of allocating all the data into one big buffer, keep a small input buffer around and decompress directly into a client's read buffer..

3255ebf24a Get rid of gcc3's numerous warnings about using <new.h> instead of <new> by creating a new #define, NEW_H, which should be used instead of <new.h> or <new>.
