61b185efc0 Bug 1056322 - Don't run DictionaryFetcher when spllchecker isn't initialized. r=masayuki
When CanSpellCheck isn't called yet, mSpellChecker won't be initialized. So we should check it before running DictionaryFetcher.

I think that UpdateCurrentDictionary is called by OnFocus as long as nsEditorSpellCheck::InitSpellChecker isn't called. But I cannot find test case to reproduce this...

e9a9c3586f Bug 1330912 - Part 2. Use async version on UpdateCurrentDictionary. r=masayuki
Now, mozInlineSpellChecker::UpdateCurrentDictionary will use sync IPC messages via nsEditorSpellCheck::DictionaryFetched.

Part 1 adds async API to set current dictionary. So we should use it on nsEditorSpellCheck::DictionaryFetched instead of sync API.

e1617486a8 Bug 1347314 - Migrate calls to ChromeRegistry::GetSelectedLocale to use LocaleService::GetAppLocale. r=jfkthame,Pike
In cases, where the caller is looking for the locale to be used for JS Intl API,
we can now replace it with `undefined` which causes JS Intl API to use the default
locale which since bug 1346674 is resolved to the app locale.

This allows us to remove a lot of calls for the app locale.

The remaining ones are split between `AsBCP47` and `AsLangTag`.
Here, the `AsLangTag` is used, as described in the API docs, for cases where
the language string is used for localization purposes, such as language negotaition
matching to our language resources etc.
`AsBCP47` is used when the returned value is handed over to ICU API.

9a3fb4229e Bug 1316432 - Fix nsCOMPtr constructions&assignments from 0 - r=froydnj
Giving '0' (literal zero) to nsCOMPtr is now ambiguous, as both
nsCOMPtr(decltype(nullptr)) and nsCOMPtr(T*) could be used.
In any case, our coding standards mandate the use of 'nullptr' for pointers.
So I'm changing all zeroes into nullptr's where necessary.

70065b8279 Bug 1311240 Fix odd "{" and "}" of control statements in editor for conforming to our coding rules r=smaug
Currently, editor code uses following style (or similar style) in a lot of places:

if (foo)
{

}
else
{

}

This patch fixes this as conforming to our coding rules, i.e., it becomes:

if (foo) {

} else {

}

Additionally, this fixes other odd control statements in the files which include above issue because it's difficult to find following issues with searching the files:

* if (foo) bar;
* if (foo) { bar; }
* if (foo)
    bar;

Finally, if it becomes much simpler than current code, this patch rewrites existing code with "early return style". But this case is only a few places because this is risky.

1f65390cc9 Bug 1293603 (part 2) - Make Run() declarations consistent. r=erahm.
This patch makes most Run() declarations in subclasses of nsIRunnable have the
same form: |NS_IMETHOD Run() override|.

As a result of these changes, I had to add |override| to a couple of other
functions to satisfy clang's -Winconsistent-missing-override warning.

4e6d8f6705 Bug 1207245 - part 6 - rename nsRefPtr<T> to RefPtr<T>; r=ehsan; a=Tomcat
The bulk of this commit was generated with a script, executed at the top
level of a typical source code checkout. The only non-machine-generated
part was modifying MFBT's moz.build to reflect the new naming.

CLOSED TREE makes big refactorings like this a piece of cake.

 # The main substitution.

 # Handle nsRefPtr.h itself, a couple places that define constructors

222ce9e7f0 Bug 1210517 - Create nsVariant directly rather than via do_CreateInstance(). r=froydnj
The goal here is to leave creation stuff mostly for JS, so we can
convert it entirely over to a non-threadsafe cycle-collected version
without breaking any existing C++ users.

I didn't do this for a remaining use in nsGlobalWindow.h to avoid
including nsVariant.h all over the place.

9d38823456 Bug 1026099 - Rework the spellchecker context menu to not use CPOWs. r=ehsan/billm/felipe
This patch fixes a few nits and typos in the C++ spellchecking code as well as
fixing the Finnish dictionary and multiple installed dictionaries in general (r=ehsan).

It reworks the spellchecking context menu to use async message passing (in JS)
and reduces, by a little, the CPOW use in the context menu code (r=felipe).

Finally, the spellcheck IPDL no longer needs to be 'rpc' since we no longer
nest spellchecking calls, so it can go back to being 'sync' (r=billm).
