95c38cc6b8 Bug 1691913 - Rename nsBaseHashtable::Put to InsertOrUpdate. r=xpcom-reviewers,necko-reviewers,jgilbert,dragana,nika
This makes the naming more consistent with other functions called
Insert and/or Update. Also, it removes the ambiguity whether
Put expects that an entry already exists or not, in particular because
it differed from nsTHashtable::PutEntry in that regard.

33a2131f29 Bug 1694229 - Separate Enter/Exit Widget Events from Mouse Button events r=smaug
If we don't do this, then just moving the mouse over a window experiencing a
slow script will cause it to show the notification. We could try to
deserialize the message inside nsContentUtils::IsMessageCriticalInputEvent, but
that seems overcomplicated compared to just adding a new message which proxies
to the original message handlers.

c3f2180bda Bug 1357365 - part 3: Make TypeInState::OnSelectionChange() stop keeping link style if caret is positioned at edge of a link element and not moved in the link r=m_kato,edgar
Although different from the other browsers' behavior, our traditional behavior
might be better than them because the behavior on the other browser does not
allow users to insert new content at start nor end of a link.

However, we can relax more about keeping traditional behavior for web-compat.
Perhaps, only when caret is moved from the other side of first or last character
in the link and moves caret to the edge of the link with arrow key, we should
allow users to modify the link text.

Otherwise, e.g., `Home` and `End` key press should make it stop keeping the
link style. This helps advanced users who are familiar with keyboard navigatin
in editor.

Note that this patch also changes the condition which checks
`aReason & nsISelectionListener::KEYPRESS_REASON` to check also
`nsISelectionListener::COLLAPSETO_START_REASON` and
`nsISelectionListener::COLLAPSETO_END_REASON` because all of them are
set by `nsFrameSelection::MoveCaret` exclusively.
https://searchfox.org/mozilla-central/rev/a0ccd492719b1ad2106f6456549be62a76f45acb/layout/generic/nsFrameSelection.cpp#738,741,745
Therefore, they should be treated as same as a key press.

Note that they are also set by `Selection::CollapseToStart` and
`Selection::CollapseToEnd` too. But a following patch will add a new
reason to notify selection listeners of caused by JS. So, the problem
will be fixed by the following patch.

136e604164 Bug 1635914 - Move active flag handling explicitly to BrowsingContext. r=nika
And have it mirror in the parent process more automatically.

The docShellIsActive setter in the browser-custom-element side needs to
be there rather than in the usual DidSet() calls because the
AsyncTabSwitcher code relies on getting an exact amount of notifications
as response to that specific setter. Not pretty, but...

BrowserChild no longer sets IsActive() on the docshell itself for OOP
iframes. This fixes bug 1679521. PresShell activeness is used to
throttle rAF as well, which handles OOP iframes nicely as well.

5bd1545867 Bug 1675349: Replace plugin behavior with a basic fallback r=jmathies,mixedpuppy
The browser currently only enables plugin behavior for Flash and our internal test plugins. This patch replaces support for those plugins with a simple fallback that shows a transparent region where the plugin would have been. It removes the file system search(es) for the plugin dynamic libraries and short-circuits the logic to determine if plugins should do something special -- all implementations now behave the same in the presence of plugin elements.

The new behavior is:
1. If the <object> or <embed> element lists a type of something other than "x-shockwave-flash" or "x-test" then the behavior is unchanged. This means that non-plugin types behave properly and unknown types (for example, typos) are also unaffected (they reduce to 0x0 elements).
2. If the <object> element has an HTML fallback in the DOM (see spec for <object> elements) then the fallback is always shown.
3. Otherwise, the element is shown as a transparent region with the size specified in attributes.
