4bcfcad1ba bug 127091 - big string cleanup, removing old APIs 
- removing Assign/AppendWithConversion for single-characters
- removing unused StripChars
- removing ReplaceChar[s] for non-matching chars
- removing CompressSet
- removing nsCString::Find/FindCharInSet/RFind for unichar strings
- removing lots of EqualsWithConversion

e537522240 Do restoration of information in the layout history state immediately after frame initialization rather than using separate code within PresShell::ContentAppended that calls GetPrimaryFrameFor (which is slow and forces every frame into the primary frame map, inefficiently). b=109428 r=rods sr=waterson 2002-01-11 20:10:46 +00:00

baba14c5c8 Bug 88413: Remove |GetUnicode()| from nsString (and replace it with |get()|). r=dbaron, rs=scc. 
This removes all call-sites I can currently fix. Tomorrow I'll try to get someone to checkin my changes to security/ and I'll get some help with the Netscape side of things.

nsString::GetUnicode()'s final death-blow will be dealt soon. Please keep this in mind as you add new code :-)

a1ed5b3a4f This checkin enables mozilla to support the printing of selection, the printing of page ranges, and 
the printing of headers and footers.
Printing of selection is implemented by the frames figuring out if they are in the selection and painting
if they or not they they don't paint. This also only allows the printing of the first page of
selections, alothough it is well documented where this is implemeted so it can be removed.

3ba32f670e DOM string changes. All nsString& in DOM interfaces (and interfaces needed by DOM implementations) have been changed to nsAReadableString& and nsAWritableString&.
