ab37c5705a r=dbaron, sr=dougt. 97667. nsIInterfaceRequestor is now frozen. nsIInterfaceRequestorUtils.h is now required if you want to use do_GetInterface() for convenience. The two were split because the stuff that is now in nsIInterfaceRequestorUtils.h wasn't ready for freezing. Also, .idl files should just contain interface defs anyway. 2001-09-05 21:28:38 +00:00

503e060923 r=ccarlen, sr=rpotts on the mozilla/docshell/* and mozilla/embedding/* mods (81263). embedding apps can now control whether or not images are loaded in a specific nsWebBrowser window. This is done via nsIWebBrowserSetup. shaver@mozilla.org provided a nsWebBrowserContentPolicy implementation which registers for, and responds to, nsIContentPolicy callbacks giving nsIContentPolicies an opportunity to cancel a load or the processing of an element. processing isn't hooked up yet, and some of the content policy types in the switch statement won't become relevant until further nsIContentPolicy hookup is done. Those cases are handled inside the docshell/webshell until the content policy hook-up is made. 2001-05-21 22:42:46 +00:00

4be2167def sr=rpotts. cookie/wallet r=morse, xmlTerm r=saravn@mozdev.org, mailnews r=mscott, activeX r=adamlock, everything else covered by the sr from rpotts. 15345. These changes remove nsIDocumentLoaderObserver.idl from the build, and all of it's implementations and registrations have been moved over to nsIWebProgressListener.idl and nsIWebProgress.idl respectively. there are two (78762, 78760) mailnews printing bugs that I overturned *before* landing this. d865bfd3cb Relanding Necko Changes. 
Revising nsIChannel to allow for overlapped i/o. This consists of three parts:

1. Factoring nsIChannel into a protocol specific part, the nsIChannel, and a socket specific, the nsITransport.
2. Derive the nsIChannel from a nsIRequest.
2. Changes the notification system from necko and the URILoader to pass the nsIRequest interface instead of nsIChannel interface.

This goal stems from wanting to be able to have active AsyncRead and AsyncWrite operations on nsSocketTransport.
This is desired because it would greatly simplify the task of maintaining persistent/reusable socket connections
for FTP, HTTP, and Imap (and potentially other protocols). The problem with the existing nsIChannel interface is
that it does not allow one to selectively suspend just one of the read or write operations while keeping the other active.

c05e057a42 This was tested on win32, and is known to build on win32 and solaris. 
Right now, nsIPluginManager::PostURL() has parameters for
postHeadersLength and postHeaders.  However, nothing is being done with
these parameters.  This bug fix utilizes these params for their intended
purpose: to allow the plugin the ability to add HTTP headers to a POST
data stream.

Important assumptions made by this fix:

* postHeadersLength is the correct length for postHeaders.

* postHeaders is a buffer of headers in the form

  "HeaderName: HeaderValue\r\n"

  each header, including the last, MUST be followed by "\r\n".

To affect this fix I had to modify the following files:

Basically, it involved clearing a path so the headers arguments can make
it down to nsIPluginInstanceOwner::GetURL()'s implementation in
nsObjectFrame.cpp, where an nsIInputStream is made of the headers.

5095261d43 Bug #10802 --> expose load types to load info class so callers can set the load type 
this is needed to implement things like open attachment so we can make the doc shell
think a user click happened when it talks to the uriloader.

I removed two boolean fields which were representing two load types. Simplified the api by allowing you
to pass in any of our load types.
