efaea0aaa7 Bug 1438157 - part 2: Remove unnecessary second argument of EventUtils.synthesizeKey() r=smaug
Note that this patch also replaces legacy VK_* with KEY_*, and replaces
synthesizeKey() for inputting some characters with sendString() because
it's better and clearer what it does and it sets shiftKey state properly.

In bug 1426721 we added a bulk interface for importing logins, which
works in a background thread. This patch cleans up the single-login
interface and updates the remaining usages to consume the bulk
interface.

53a40055b6 Bug 1436926 - part 2: Remove unnecessary KeyboardEvent.code specification of callers of EventUtils.synthesizeKey() r=smaug
Now, callers of EventUtils.synthesizeKey() don't need to specify
KeyboardEvent.code value anymore if they assume that active keyboard layout
is US keyboard layout.

Note that this patch changes the meaning of only test_bug551434.html.
Some callers in it don't match the key value and code value but that looks
like that they don't checking such odd keyboard events. So, they must be
bug of the test.

272cee1e65 Bug 1432992, part 1 - Remove definitions of Ci, Cr, Cc, and Cu. r=florian
This patch was autogenerated by my decomponents.py

It covers almost every file with the extension js, jsm, html, py,
xhtml, or xul.

It removes blank lines after removed lines, when the removed lines are
preceded by either blank lines or the start of a new block. The "start
of a new block" is defined fairly hackily: either the line starts with
//, ends with */, ends with {, <![CDATA[, """ or '''. The first two
cover comments, the third one covers JS, the fourth covers JS embedded
in XUL, and the final two cover JS embedded in Python. This also
applies if the removed line was the first line of the file.

It covers the pattern matching cases like "var {classes: Cc,
interfaces: Ci, utils: Cu, results: Cr} = Components;". It'll remove
the entire thing if they are all either Ci, Cr, Cc or Cu, or it will
remove the appropriate ones and leave the residue behind. If there's
only one behind, then it will turn it into a normal, non-pattern
matching variable definition. (For instance, "const { classes: Cc,
Constructor: CC, interfaces: Ci, utils: Cu } = Components" becomes
"const CC = Components.Constructor".)

65ecb061b4 Bug 1134540 - Make all tests stop using nsIDOMWindowUtils.sendKeyEvent() r=smaug
nsIDOMWindowUtils.sendKeyEvent() can dispatch any keyboard events, i.e.,
may dispatch different key events from actual Gecko's behavior. Instead,
they should use nsITextInputProcessor directly or synthesizeKey() of
EventUtils which wraps nsITextInputProcessor.

c4a6e59688 Bug 1426721 - Encrypt Chrome logins in background thread r=keeler,MattN
A significant chunk of migration jank that I observe locally
happens due to login encryption. This patch reduces the locally
observed jank (measured importing 100 logins) from 180ms to 25ms.

Try is green, and as far as I can tell I don't see any thread
safety issues, but I'm not 100% sure on that. I don't see any
red flags inside the SecretDecoderRing::Encrypt implementation.

I only moved Chrome logins over since I wanted to frontload any
potential issues with the whole approach. It shouldn't be too
hard to move the MSMigrationUtils and IEProfileMigrator uses
over though.

1fe0ee54f3 Bug 1426721 - Add async/bulk encryption interface to SDR r=keeler,MattN
Since encryption can be somewhat CPU intensive, if we're encrypting
a large number of strings we want to be able to do so in a background
thread. This will be consumed by the profile migrators when importing
logins.

1bef155067 Bug 1410364 - Don't consider opener when calculating IsSecureContext. r=bz, r=dveditz
Per https://github.com/w3c/webappsec-secure-contexts/issues/42, the
section considering the window opener when calculating secure context is
to be dropped. Firefox already uses "isSecureContextIfOpenerIgnored" in
most places as this is the actual behavior we want. This patch aligns
with the upcoming spec changes by ignoring the window opener. We also no
longer have to keep information about whether our opener was secure as
that no longer factors in our calculations.
