44937af05c Bug 1443749 only reload sidebar when the url has changed r=kmag 
Regression from bug 1398713.  Before that, we reloaded the entire webext-panel.xul if the
sidebar changed.  This verifies we don't reload unecessarily as well as discards
the browser to force a runtime disconnect for the extension if it does change.

97c3b183c4 Bug 1427186 - stop ever showing 'new tab' as a title for about:privatebrowsing in private windows, r=dao 
There are 3 issues here:
- the runtime changing of the title causes issues where the content title is
  not set. This is fixed by setting it to the private title by default;
  there is very little (if any) UI that allows users to even open
  about:privatebrowsing in 'normal' windows so we care a lot less about
  flicker there. To be able to include this title in the markup, we switched
  to a dtd.
- the 'empty tab' title we set on the tab initially is set when the tab is
  created. This has been updated to check for private windows, and default to
  'Private Browsing' instead. This will obviously also affect other new tabs
  in private browsing, but that seems desirable/consistent.
- Likewise, we use this title when updating a tab's title that we don't yet
  have a content title for (which can still happen while about:privatebrowsing
  is loading because e10s), and so that is updated, too.

4e71107eb3 Bug 1443229 - follow-up: use correct checkbox state, r=jaws 
It seems `doCommand` runs through a different codepath than just clicking the checkbox,
and as a result the outcome of the command handler is different that way.

This aligns the automated test closer to what happens when you 'manually'
click the checkbox, and fixes the bug in the command handler.

090f854e01 Bug 1442850 - Update how history mode and cookie lifetime controls interact to fit our new preferences UI. r=Gijs 
We recently updated the cookie settings in about:preferences to live outside
of the history mode settings, but did not change the way that changes to history
mode (toggling the privatebrowsing.autostart pref) reflected in the cookies section.

This patch takes care of that by moving the cookie related pieces out of the code
that sets history settings and makes sure that the respective functions get called
in all appropriate cases.

I also moved some site data settings code to be closer to the cookies code.
